More than just an accommodation venue, The Dudley Boutique Hotel is a haven for art lovers where work of local artists graces the walls and hallways of the house. A small collection of artworks by Emma McAdam-Marmont and Struan Hopwood are exhibited throughout The Dudley including the bedrooms. Some of the artwork are available for sale. More of Emma’s and Struan’s artwork could be viewed at Thirteen 05 Gallery located on Vincent Street in Daylesford and on their website.

“In my contemporary sculptural expression I draw on my West African and artistic heritage and many life experiences to create large figurative sculptures and functional sculpt-artworks designed to evoke strong and positive feelings. The integration of the old/ancient and new/now is subconscious but clearly present. I love transforming the masculine media of mild steel to the feminine with flowing forms and soft dynamic curves embodied with feminine wisdom and power. While each piece is deeply personal embodying a part of my essence, I hope that my art can speak to its audience directly without accompanying narrative…” ~ Issa
